Peri Peri Pepper

$8.75
Peri Peri is spicy hot sauce believed to have been invented by Portuguese explorers and
traders who traveled to Mozambique during the 15th century. It was there that they found the native African bird’s eye chili pepper and mixed it with vinegar, paprika, garlic, and other familiar European ingredients to make the namesake sauce. In Swahili, peri peri simply means pepper, pepper, and we use the same basic ingredients to craft our dry rub seasoning which we call Peri Peri Pepper. We love to use this rub on both pork and chicken and find the spiciness it imparts to recipes to be on a pleasantly warm plane as opposed to burning hot chili pepper heat scale.
