Radish Tartine

Here's a recipe for a delicious radish tartine.

INGREDIENTS:

2 slices of your favorite whole grain bread
1 tablespoon European-style high-fat butter, softened
4 radishes, washed, trimmed, and sliced into thin rounds
A few pinches Sea Smoke – sea salt with applewood smoke flavor
Fresh parsley or cilantro sprigs for garnishing (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Remove the crusts from the bread slices and cut each slice into 3 rectangles.
  2. Spread a thin layer of butter over each bread rectangle. Arrange the radishes rounds on top of each piece of buttered bread and sprinkle a pinch of Sea Smoke over the top of each tartine. Garnish with a sprig of parsley or cilantro if desired. Serve at once.
